Chanel Green, LCSW
With 15 years of dedicated experience as a mental health clinician, I am deeply committed to helping individuals navigate their personal journeys towards healing and meaningful growth. I proudly hold a Bachelor of Arts degree from Georgia State University and a Master of Social Work from Clark Atlanta University, credentials that have equipped me with the knowledge and skills necessary to support my clients effectively. My passion for mental health was profoundly influenced by my own experiences in overcoming hardships, which continuously fuels my dedication to empowering others in achieving their personal and professional goals.
As a proud mother of three wonderful children and a loving dog owner, I have a firsthand understanding of the immense importance of family, community, and the connections that bind us. Although I currently reside in Atlanta, I am originally from the vibrant city of Chicago, where I was shaped by the rich cultural heritage of the African American tradition of community building. This background significantly informs my therapeutic approach, allowing me to create a space where individuals feel seen, heard, and valued.
In my free time, I thoroughly enjoy practicing yoga and exploring new places, both of which are activities that enhance my overall well-being and continuously inspire my work with clients. I firmly believe in the transformative power of therapy and am truly honored to support each person's unique path toward resilience and healing.
